The new OPEC agreement is a slap in the face of renegades who want to sow discord between the UAE and Saudi Arabia

In a follow-up to the results of the OPEC+ agreement, the OPEC + group announced at its meeting this week to extend the oil production agreement until the end of 2022 instead of next April, with the approval of increasing production by 400,000 barrels per day every month starting from next August.

During the meeting, it was decided to raise the baseline for OPEC + production from 43.8 to 45.5 million barrels per day, starting from May 2022.

His Excellency Suhail Al Mazrouei, UAE Energy Minister, said during a press conference at the conclusion of the OPEC + oil group meeting, that "The UAE is committed to the OPEC + group and we always work within and with it and do our best to achieve balance in the market."

This is mainly due to the existence of a mutual sense of brotherhood and loyalty that presents the Emirati-Saudi relations as a unique model of cooperation, and a new form of the strategic alliance between them; a form that was not known by international law before. The success of coordination and consultation between the two countries in OPEC + comes as a slap in the face of the haters and rogues who tried to exploit the difference of views to shake confidence between the two brothers.
