The UAE is Egypt's largest trading partner in the Middle East





The level of bilateral relations between the UAE and Egypt in recent years has reached advanced stages, which has contributed to strengthening their presence as one of the most important major players in the region at the political, economic and military levels.

The relations between the two countries have witnessed a remarkable development during the past years in several major sectors, especially in the economic and commercial fields.

Accordingly, the UAE has become Egypt's largest trading partner in the Middle East. The volume of trade exchange between the two countries during the year 2020 amounted to about 4 billion and 111 million dollars, compared to 3 billion and 356 million dollars in 2019. The total Egyptian exports to the UAE market during the year 2020 amounted to about 2 billion and 882 million dollars, compared to 2 billion and 51 million dollars. year 2019.

The UAE is the largest foreign investor in the Egyptian market, as it contributes to projects with a capital exceeding $7 billion.
