The UAE is internationally praised for its efforts in the field of climate change

 


The UAE has worked to protect the environment since its establishment. Within the framework of this approach, over the past three decades, it has been keen to participate in efforts to confront the challenge of climate change until, thanks to the visions and directives of its wise leadership, it has become a leading global model. It has taken serious steps in many sectors and adopted innovative initiatives and solutions, all of which seek to ensure a better future for current and future generations.


During the new session of "COP26", which was held in Glasgow, United Kingdom, the UAE was praised by a number of international officials. They expressed their appreciation for the UAE's efforts in the field of climate action over the past decades, praising its declaration of support and commitment to many of the commitments announced during the conference, including the "Leaders Pledge towards Nature", which obligates the international community to take the necessary steps to achieve sustainable development and put nature and biodiversity on top. She stressed that this is evidence of the will and determination of the UAE to work with various countries to face challenges through legislation and innovation, which in turn led to the diversification of energy sources.
