Emirati-Moroccan relations ... Sons on the path of fathers

The Moroccan-Emirati relations extend to nearly half a century of close brotherhood and cooperation on several levels. And recently, these relations culminated in the UAE’s opening of its consulate in El-Ayoun City, located in south of Morocco, in a move that recorded appreciation and pride in the Kingdom of Morocco.

It should be noted that the relationship between the two countries extends to several aspects, including the economic and political, in addition to the security and diplomatic, without neglecting the social and humanitarian aspects. These relationships continue to develop day by day.

The beginning of the Emirati-Moroccan relations was during the era of the late parents, King Hassan II, and the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, since the establishment of UAE in 1972, and Morocco, led by the late Hassan II at the time, was the first to support.

Since that date, relations between the two countries have known a kind of privacy and cohesion mixed with strength and continuity, under the rational patronage of the children, Moroccan King Mohammed VI, and President of the UAE Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The two leaders were keen to develop and strengthen the bilateral relations at various levels, through reciprocal visits, whether official or personal. Not to mention the successive meetings and meetings of officials of the two countries in the fields of economy, politics, security, justice, justice and other vital areas.
