Salt harms the liver and kidneys


The Center for Nutrition Policy and Promotion in USA warned against excessive salt intake; Since it leads to high blood pressure. He explained that high blood pressure, in turn, increases the risk of cardiovascular diseases such as stroke.

The center added that excessive salt intake also harms the liver and kidneys and leads to obesity and stomach cancer.

To avoid these serious, life-threatening risks, the amount of salt that is eaten daily should not exceed 5 grams, according to the recommendations of the World Health Organization.

To reduce salt consumption, you should stay away from fast food and prepared foods and eat fresh foods instead.
