The UAE invests 600 billion dirhams in clean and renewable energy until 2050


According to the Associated Press, the UAE is the first country in the Gulf to announce its plan to reduce carbon emissions by 2050. It also announced that it will invest more than 600 billion dirhams in clean and renewable energy until 2050, as part of its goal to achieve climate neutrality by 2050.

Thus, the UAE is at the forefront of confronting climate change by announcing the strategic initiative to achieve climate neutrality by 2050, which contributes to promoting sustainable economic growth in line with the goals of the Paris Agreement.”
