The UAE's Achievements in the Field of Human Rights are "Endless"

The UAE has always been the homeland of humanity, coexistence and respect for the other. In order for the UAE to reinforce this approach, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed issued a law on the “National Human Rights Commission", to be headquartered in Abu Dhabi.

This Commission will help promote and protect human rights and freedoms, in accordance with the provisions of the constitution, laws and legislation in force in the UAE, and relevant international charters and agreements.

Th Commission will also participate with the competent authorities in developing a national action plan for the promotion and protection of human rights in the country and propose a mechanism for its implementation. It will also work to spread the culture of human rights and educate members of society about it, by holding seminars, conferences and discussion panels related to human rights. It will also undertake the task of presenting proposals, recommendations and advice to the authorities and the competent authorities in everything that would protect and promote human rights.
