Abdullah bin Zayed visits the UAE Mission to the United Nations in New York




H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, visited the new headquarters of the country's permanent mission to the United Nations in New York. His Highness extended a greeting of appreciation and pride to the mission's work team, praising their distinguished efforts and tireless work throughout the country's candidacy for membership in the Security Council.

His Highness said that the UAE, through its membership in the Security Council for the period 2022-2023, is looking forward to working with its partners in the United Nations in order to reach solutions to current challenges and to explore prospects for a promising future for future generations.

His Highness affirmed that the UAE is committed to playing its active and effective role in the Security Council and assuming its responsibility towards consolidating the foundations of international peace and security, promoting multilateral action and supporting the efforts of the international community to achieve comprehensive and sustainable development in societies.
