3 Spices that help you Burn Belly Fat.. What Are They?

Getting rid of visceral fat is a complex problem because it often relates to how food is processed and digested.

Visceral fat is fat that is stored inside the abdominal cavity, and thus is stored around a number of important internal organs such as the liver, pancreas and intestines.

According to Harvard Medical School, visceral fat indicates an increased risk of heart disease and diabetes. But eating more of these three spices has been shown to help burn belly fat easier, according to Express.

Cinnamon

The active ingredient in cinnamon is known as cinnamaldehyde. In a 2012 Japanese study published in the Journal of Nutritional Science and Vitaminology, two groups of mice were fed a diet rich in sucrose and fat.

Cinnamaldehyde was given to one group daily, while the other was not given, and after a month, the researchers found that the mice that took the active ingredient with cinnamon lost visceral fat, while the other group did not.

The study concluded that cinnamaldehyde stimulates the metabolism of visceral adipose tissue, suggesting that cinnamon may be useful in reducing belly fat.

Ginger

A spice extracted from the flowering ginger plant, it has been shown to reduce harmful belly fat, for example.

One study found that people who ate ginger stayed full (feel full) longer than those who didn't. The gingerol found in ginger also stabilizes blood sugar levels.

Stabilizing blood sugar is a great way to facilitate healthy fat loss in the long run, plus it can help keep a person's metabolic rate high, so food is processed faster.

Cumin

In a study published in the US National Library of Medicine (NLM) the ability of cumin to lose visceral fat was investigated.

The randomized clinical trial was conducted on 72 overweight individuals between the ages of 18 and 50 years.

Participants were randomly divided into three groups, where the first group received latency, the second group received lower levels of latency and the third group received a placebo.

The study found that after eight weeks, the high-dose cumin group experienced significant weight loss.

The study concluded that "taking high doses of cumin for eight weeks among overweight people had a beneficial effect on their weight."

Cumin is a popular spice with exceptional benefits for your health. Not only has it been shown to help with weight loss, but cumin can also reduce inflammation, and is safe for most people looking to reach a healthy weight and balance blood sugar.
