The UAE and Support for Palestine: A Firm Approach and a Principled Situation

 

In a tweet via Twitter, Dr. Anwar Gargash, Diplomatic Advisor to the President of the Emirates, said that his country "Stands with the Palestinian right, with the end of the Israeli occupation, with the two-state solution, and with an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital."

This tweet offered crucial messages that reveal the keenness of  the UAE wise leadership on the Palestinian issue, and reflect its vision of supporting stability in the region and providing logical and objective solutions based on a comprehensive approach that leads to defuse tensions and settle crises, in accordance with the rules of international law.

The aforementioned messages block the road for trolls and ambushes from hostile parties, everyone knows they are exploiting any occasion to incite against the UAE because of its support for peace.

Despite the abuses that were directed at the UAE and the incitement campaigns that targeted it, the UAE went beyond the abuses, raised the language of tolerance, and continued its support for the Palestinians. At the beginning of 2021, it sent urgent relief aid to support 10 thousand families in the Gaza Strip, where it provided 808 tons of relief aid.

From the foregoing, no party can bid on the stances of the UAE in support of the Palestinian cause, which is one of the pillars of the its foreign policy.
