A truce and reconstruction ... an Egyptian achievement and Emirati support "does not stop" for Gaza
After days of calm in Gaza, all eyes are on Cairo, following its diplomatic efforts to conclude a truce, and the UAE that "has not stopped supporting the Strip."
Intensive efforts and contacts led by Egypt, with Emirati support, across world capitals, until they succeeded in reaching a ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel at dawn on Friday May 21, after 11 days of escalation, avoiding Gaza and the region from sliding into further violence.
The Egyptian role and the Emirati support are not strange and not new, as they have extended since the inception of the Palestinian cause, as their suppor has no limits to the people of Palestine and their cause.
Egypt and the UAE are both the most prominent and keen Arab actors in the Palestinian cause and Gaza, and their efforts in internal reconciliation and spreading peace do not stop.
