A Teenager Dedicates Her "World's Longest" Hair To A Museum

Indian "Nilanchi Patil", 18, who won the title of the longest hair of a teenager, cut her hair for the first time in 12 years, to donate it to the Ripley's Museum (Ripley's Believe It or Not!)

Patel explained that her hair has given her a lot of success and fame, and it is time to donate it, noting that she thought about donating it to children of cancer to make wigs from it, but her mother convinced her that it should be displayed in an international museum to inspire others.

Patel's hair is reportedly being set for show at Ripley's Believe It or Not! In Los Angeles, it will also be transferred to the Guinness World Records Museum in Hollywood at a later time.

It is noteworthy that Patel entered the Guinness Book of Records at the age of 16 years with the longest hair of a teenager, 5 feet 7 inches (170.5 cm) long, and before her 18th birthday, she succeeded in maintaining her title with hair 6 feet, 6.7 inches (200 cm).
