On International Day of Human Fraternity.. Thank you "UAE"


On Human Fraternity Day, which the world celebrates for the first time, Thursday 4th February, many people thank UAE in appreciation of its historic step by embracing the signing of the Document on Human Fraternity.

The celebration of the Human Fraternity Day comes after the United Nations General Assembly unanimously adopted a resolution declaring February 4  as an International Day of Human Fraternity last December, particularly after an initiative presented by UAE in cooperation with Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Egypt.

The resolution made in recognition of the historic step taken by Abu Dhabi on February 4, 2019, and its efforts to embrace the signing of the historic Document on Human Fraternity, which was signed by the Grand Imam Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar, and His Holiness Pope Francis, Pope of the Catholic Church, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince  of Abu Dhabi.

The UN resolution is also a global recognition of the correctness of the Emirati vision, which saw in human fraternity a way to stabilize the world, eliminate conflicts and conflicts, and spread the values of coexistence and tolerance.

The selection of February 4 of each year as Human Fraternity Day is the result of the great efforts made by UAE to triumph for humanity and the values of tolerance, love, coexistence and peace over the language of violence, hate speech, intolerance, and all forms of discrimination.

This resolution is also a victory for the thought and efforts of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, the sponsor of the Document on Human Fraternity and who supports the spread of its principles globally.
