An upcoming visit of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed to Turkey

It is possible that the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, will visit Turkey next week, where he will meet Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in a historic meeting that will open a new era of regional, economic and political cooperation.

This will be the crown prince's first visit in years, as Turkey will host the most powerful Arab figure with the aim of mending strained relations, hoping to launch an economic partnership that will not only lead to the start of economic activities in Turkey, but will also help de-escalate political and security tensions in the entire Middle East.

The cooperation between the two countries is expected to open the beginning of a new era of economic development, as Turkey hopes to attract more Emirati investment in the fields of energy and electricity. On the other hand, the United Arab Emirates is targeting deeper economic relations with Turkey, as this will reflect positively on the diversification of its investments. It is likely that a joint business forum between the two countries will be held in Dubai at the end of November, to bring together businessmen in both countries.
