For more privacy.......Emirates Airlines allows passengers to purchase up to three free adjacent seats



People always look for comfort and privacy during their travels, and this is what Emirates Airlines supports most.Emirates Airlines announced that passengers in Economy Class can have more privacy, with more space on board, thanks to the new option to buy up to three adjacent seats empty on the flight.

This option is for all Economy Class customers who have confirmed reservations with Emirates Airlines. It should be taken into account that the reservation of empty seats will not be available in advance, and it will be according to their availability, as they are presented for purchase on the airport check-in counter before departure of the flight.

The company indicated that the cost of this option ranged between 200 and 600 dirhams ($ 55-165) per empty seat, in addition to the applicable taxes according to the flight sector.

It is worth noting that this new option was provided in response to customer feedback, and to meet the requirements of those who want more privacy and space while traveling in Economy Class, including those couples who prefer to have a full row of seats for themselves (with a maximum of three seats in the same row), or parents who travel with infants, or those who want additional protection with more travel space in light of the (Covid-19) pandemic.

Emirates Airlines indicated that it is currently offering, in addition to the new empty seat option, a variety of seat products for Economy Class customers to choose their preferred seats based on their special requirements. It offers a seat with extra legroom, which is adjacent to emergency exits, which are subject to safety requirements. It also provided a row of two seats in the back of the Boeing 777 aircraft, and in the upper deck of the Airbus A380 aircraft, with a split of two classes.

The company referred to preferred seats in the first section of the Boeing 777 cabin, and the upper deck cabin of the Airbus A380 with two-class division, in addition to all the other seats in Economy Class.

These seats can be reserved either through the website, Emirates Airlines contact centers, or upon check-in at the airport, on board of the plane, or through approved travel agents.

The company confirmed that the availability of seats for free or for a fee depends on the Emirates Skywards membership category, the ticket price category, departure time, and other special needs.
