The UAE shows efficiency in procedures to confront "Corona"


The UAE has shown great efficiency in taking preventive measures against the outbreak of the Coronavirus, while it has gone further after it contributed to the evacuation of Arab students stranded in the Chinese "Wuhai", the epicenter of the epidemic, in a humanitarian step that has received wide global appreciation.

The Emirati system, through its rapid handling of the emerging situation, demonstrated its ability to immunize society and ensure the safety of all its members, citizens and residents, with the testimony of the World Health Organization, which praised the efficiency of the UAE health system and its success in facing the spread of the epidemic.

It is noteworthy that the UAE has rushed, with high transparency, to enhance the level of its strict procedures at all border outlets and activate thermal detection systems in all these ports. It also activated early warning systems for health cases, equipped qualified medical teams to work around the clock, and strengthened the stock of medical supplies.

The UAE has strengthened the capabilities of the health sector by applying the epidemiological investigation system with high efficiency, providing a strategic stock of basic medical supplies needed for advanced examination to detect the virus, applying medical quarantine and isolation, providing isolation rooms equipped in a way that ensures that viruses do not spread to neighboring areas, and preparing specialized medical staff to work throughout the day, imposing adherence to health procedures followed at airports, and allocating call centers in health authorities that work around the clock for investigation and follow-up.
